Contractors’ All Risks Insurance provides cover against sudden and unforeseen physical loss or damage relating to the civil engineering projects. Cover is in respect of contract works, construction plant, equipment and machinery provided the loss is not excluded in the policy. It also covers third-party liability relating to the construction project.
Erection All Risks / Installation All Risks provide cover against sudden and unforeseen physical loss or damage to items being erected or installed such as machinery and equipment. The policy also covers third-party liability claims in connection with the erection project.
Contractors’ Plant and Machinery provides cover for the item(s) insured as a result of a sudden and unforeseen physical loss or damage provided the loss is not excluded in the policy.
Machinery Breakdown provides cover for any unforeseen and sudden physical loss or damage to the item(s) insured from causes such as faulty design, bad workmanship, lack of skill, carelessness, shortage of water in boilers, physical explosion, tearing apart on account of centrifugal force, short circuit, storm, or from any other cause not specifically excluded hereinafter, in a manner necessitating repair or replacement.
Boiler and Pressure Vessel provides cover against damage to the insured boiler as a result of explosion or collapse. The policy also covers third-party liabilities.
Deterioration of Stock provides cover against sudden and unforeseen damage to goods stored in specified cold storage spaces, which occurs as a result of a change in temperature caused by a breakdown of the refrigeration equipment or accidental damage to it.
